"YOUR WORDS HAVE A LOT OF POWER, USE THEM WISELY."
THE ISSUES OF BULLYING

Bullying is a huge issue. Bullying affects millions of people. Whether it has to do with different race, religion, or class, almost everyone have had an encounter with bullying. Whether it be subtle verbal bullying or major physical bullying, the victim gets hurt the same. One out of four teens say they get bullied regularly and fifty-three percent of kids admit someone has said something mean or hurtful to them online. Many people think bullying is a rite of passage, part of growing up; however, I disagree. Sure, people can have arguements, but bullying is brutal; bullying is the cause of many deaths and should be taken more seriously. It could affect a person for the rest of their lives. I have once read a book called Dear Bully, and it is a collaboration of teen novel authors writing about their bullying stories, and they are really bad. Click the button at the bottom of the text to visit the website for the book. Nearly half of the authors had almost taken their lives. Even after about thirty years, these authors still live with the name of their bully burning in their mind, casting a burden that they will never be able to lift. Bullying is a serious issue, and it needs to be stopped (Ellis,2015).
